Kia currently lists special financing, four lease choices, and a military bonus for the 2027 Seltos in the Chicago area. The lowest advertised lease payment is not the full monthly cost because it also requires $3,799 at signing.

Offer check: We checked Kia’s official US offer page on July 26, 2026, using ZIP code 60601. The offers below run from July 7 through August 3, 2026. Offers can change by ZIP code and may depend on credit approval, dealer participation, inventory, and other rules. Check your ZIP code on Kia’s site before acting.

Special APR financing

Kia lists these rates for well-qualified buyers through Kia Finance America:

Loan term APR Kia’s payment per $1,000 financed
48 months 3.99% $22.57
60 months 4.49% $18.64
66 months 5.49% $17.59
72 months 5.99% $16.57
84 months 7.00% $15.09

Only a limited number of buyers will qualify for the advertised rates. Kia says the vehicle must come from a participating dealer’s retail stock and the finance contract must be signed by August 3, 2026. These offers may not be combined unless Kia says otherwise.

Base LX example at 3.99%

The LX FWD starts at $24,990, and Kia lists a $1,495 destination charge. Financing that $26,485 total for 48 months at 3.99%, with no down payment, would be about:

  • $598 per month
  • $28,699 across 48 payments
  • $2,214 in interest

This example does not include tax, title, registration, dealer fees, options, or a different dealer price. Add those numbers in the LoanLenz calculator before comparing it with a lease or another loan.

Lease offers

All four advertised leases are for the LX and require $3,799 at signing. That amount includes the first monthly payment, a down payment toward the lease, and a $650 acquisition fee.

Drivetrain Term Advertised payment Due at signing Scheduled outlay Average per month
FWD 24 months $259 $3,799 $9,756 $407
FWD 36 months $259 $3,799 $12,864 $357
AWD 24 months $279 $3,799 $10,216 $426
AWD 36 months $279 $3,799 $13,564 $377

Scheduled outlay is the $3,799 due at signing plus the remaining advertised monthly payments. Average per month spreads that amount across the full lease. Both numbers still leave out tax, title, registration, dealer fees, insurance, maintenance, repairs, and any end-of-lease charges.

The same $3,799 upfront amount makes the 24-month leases cost more per month when averaged over the shorter term. The 36-month FWD offer has the lowest average in this group, even though both FWD offers advertise the same $259 payment.

Mileage and lease-end terms

Each offer allows 10,000 miles per year and charges $0.20 for each extra mile. Kia lists no security deposit and a possible termination fee of up to $400.

Lease Purchase option at lease end
FWD, 24 months $19,598.90
FWD, 36 months $17,744.95
AWD, 24 months $21,138.75
AWD, 36 months $19,165.80

The purchase option is not the complete cost of leasing and then buying. Taxes, fees, and financing for the buyout can add more. Use LoanLenz to compare the lease-only cost and the estimated cost if you buy the Seltos at the end.

$500 military bonus

Kia also lists a $500 military bonus for qualified customers who buy or lease a new vehicle during the offer period. Kia says eligible customers include certain active, honorably discharged, retired, or disabled members of the US Armed Forces or Reserves, as well as an eligible member’s spouse.

Documentation is required. Kia says a military ID by itself is not enough, and spouses must also provide proof of marriage. Customers can receive no more than two Kia specialty incentives in a calendar year. Compatibility with other offers varies, so ask the dealer to show every incentive in writing.

We did not find a general customer cash rebate for the 2027 Seltos in this ZIP code during this check.

Which offer looks better?

  • Consider the APR offer if you plan to keep the vehicle, can qualify for the promotional rate, and can manage the higher monthly payment.
  • Consider a 36-month lease if you want a new vehicle for three years, drive no more than 10,000 miles per year, and accept the large upfront payment.
  • Be careful with the 24-month leases. The headline payment is the same as the 36-month choice, but the same upfront cash is spread across fewer months.
  • Do not choose from the advertisement alone. Get a written selling price, all fees, the exact rate or money factor, and every amount due before signing.
